Here I sit at 11:48 p.m, entirely too awake beings I have to be up in less than six hours so that I can be at volleyball conditioning at 6:00 a.m. ughh.
I should go to bed, but my week is already messed up because we DIDN'T HAVE SCHOOL TODAY!! WOOHOO!! While nearly the entire campus went home for the 3-day weekend, I hung around here in hopes of putting a serious dent in my pile of homework and scholarship and summer job applications. What is incredibly sad is that I left campus only twice in these 3 days off from school (well if you don't count my daily jog), once to eat at Mexico Veijo on Saturday night with Brittany, my valentine (:P) and last night to go to HyVee for a box of graham crackers and a movie. I spent entirely too much time working on homework, and I am still up at this hour trying to get stuff done. I think it's safe to say I might be a little in over my head this semester. Oh well, I guess I'll just test this whole sleep debt theory and see if I can't in fact hit bankrupt.
So, beings I'm a bum and sit around and do waaaaaay too much homework, that's pretty much all I have to talk about tonight. I spent the ENTIRE, yes, ENTIRE afternoon Sunday working on chemistry. yuck!!! In somewhere around 5 hours, I wrote two lab reports and literally suffered through two weekly quizzes (they are more intense than they sound). And, what's really sad is that I relied completely on my notes and couldn't tell you how to do any of those problems if I looked at them again....should make for some stressful studying next week when test time rolls around.
Tonight, I have to keep reminding myself that it is Monday night (I don't do well with these schedule changes) I prepared for an essay test in Christianity in the Modern World. We have the essay questions and are allowed one 3 by 5 index card, one side only, full of as many notes as we can cram, for each essay. I sort of wrote out my entire essays and then decided to see what they would look like in size 4 font. I can read them, but a magnifying glass probably wouldn't be a bad idea. Depending on how brave I am feeling tomorrow, I might actually bring in my size 4 font cards. There are no rules against it. I'll have my entire essays and probably a nice headache to go along with it.... we shall see. :P
Time is simply flying and I'm so busy with homework this semester that I barely have time to comprehend that it is doing so. It's February something and I'm lost in my own calendar of 22 credit hours and volleyball....speaking of which, the time for practice is growing ominously close and I need to end this piece and go to bed. Good night!!!
